Masterbedroom

 

So here are some pieces I have done for our masterbedroom. I have a few small projects left for this one ;)

 

 

 This is the dresser I had painted white, and then distressed. It was looking a bit tired, so I decided to give it a makeover!

 I found a great set of secondhand nightstands on kijiji for $100. They were nice and solid and the perfect size with two nice big drawers. Of course they needed to be painted in the same color as the dresser.

 Here is the dresser after with a fresh coat of paint and new hardware. I used the same color paint as on the livingroom walls, I am hoping for a color scheme that flows through the whole house. The painting is from a friend and local artist. My husband made the frame from our collection of driftwood. The chair beside the dresser also has orange tones to complement the painting.

 Here are the nightstands also with a fresh coat of paint. and New lamps from Winners $100 for the pair, these are nice solid glass numbers. The small mirrored box also came from Winners as did the blue and white rug.

 I want to try to make a headboar, not sure what color yet, but I am always open for suggestions!

 

Natural fiber area rug...would feel so great on the feet! stay tuned for the reveal, I can't wait!
